Old is Gold

Today i decided to rewind back my music collection and search few old but beautiful songs....
Suddenly a thought comes to my mind and I get back to my 9 year old avatar where my father used to play these songs and I used to get simply irritated because of two simple reasons that I was too young to understand the meaning of songs and they were old songs....

Today I laugh at my own folly, as i listen to these old melodies. They have so much meaning and simple renditions that melts heart. I today solemnly second you dad....Old is Gold

The Matrimony saga...in communications lingoo

Being married is a bliss....that's what is the summary of one month tenure experience... well??? more _____ infinite years remain to explain the rest????

Today I wish to share something which I so call as " Matrimony saga" ....phhsshh...so why m i writing abt this?? well.... though being married m surrounded with so many RSGs { Rocking spinsters group...I was part of this a month ago ;) }....

So lets get to the saga.... Talking in a communications angle...my colleague put up a very hillarious but a serious point.... Oops!! thats contradictory.... When attaining marriageable age, A girl becomes a brand..... which can be promoted through Above the line advertising, below the line advertsing and Public relations...

Above the line advertising... may not actually mean billboards and road shows..:D BUT Matrimonial sites do the same work now.....:P....... Success Rates may depend upon the registration hits and parameters set.....:P

Below the line advertising.... may not actually being distributing pamphlets or sticking the posters on wall...but taking the gal out to wedding not only of relatives but also of friends..... Success rates completely depend upon the dressing sense, presence of elderly mamis and the most important good looking hunks in the occasion.......

Now at last comes my favvvvv Public relations.....Though we cannot use media relations.... It may surely have lots of facets to it.... a) word of mouth.... added with image management...
An example of this would be "I heard Mrs Iyer has a girl.. how is she??....the word of mouth says Ohh shee... wears short skirts.. comes home with boys...my god what a family....oops!! thats looks like wrong image through word of mouth....hmmmm b) Reference ... U might have heard about " Refer an Employee" now "Refer a Bride" .... and vice versa... A combo of Word of mouth + Image management + Referalls = Suitable Bridegroom and vice versa.....
Success rates completely depend upon the trials...not the court trials u silly but how many times u guys tries the combo......

Wasnt that something....yeah.....thanks my dear colleague...like in Hindi as they say " में ही क्यूँ पच्तवुन" I wish her all the best sply to her mommy dearest....."becoz mums worry the most"....:P..to get a great guy and surpass the matrimony saga soon.....

From" Ms to Mrs"

I write this post on behalf of all the ladies who are going to get married or are soon going to bite the dust in a course of time. But the thoughts are purely mine....empathies and sympathies are accepted.

As the D-day approaches, the shopping list has crossed the boundaries, guests lists are piling, packing, visits to beauty parlor, phone calls, relatives, insomnia, nightmares, gymming, dieting....an insane show show all along...

Suddenly I wonder how can phenomenons like "Recession" & " Inflation" happen together. hmmmm.... Despite of Mr Raju's confessions, decline of stocks, defeat of the political party and making holes in the pocket....My family gets ready for the "Marriage of the century" ....
Its fun, joy, happiness, ( also fights, misunderstanding, Pauper"ly" feeling) for them
but???? how does it feel to be the bride??
Some generic ones would be" Aren't u excited?" OHH u might be in the dream world forever??" Ohhhhh how cute?? How sweet??" " so r u counting the days?".....Yeah right....M counting my days....well yes it is rude....I am actually tired of being Ms Congeniality...
How do u feel
a) when u r thrown out of ur home?
b)When ur loaded with responsibilities?
c) Asked to make adjustments with life?
d) Be a devoted cook and look after the mess??
e) No more sight seeing?? well understood...
Phew!! well I see hands raising ?? and Ladies lets all face the truth...मेरी फट गई है !!!!

Pacifying myself to face this reality, I seek to see the silver lining of the dark cloud....Yeah it would be unfair if i don't mention the love, attention*, gifts*, positivity, and of course a loaded status from Ms to Mrs....

Last words from a Spinster like me would be........" Your Place or mine???" Ditch it...."

Inspiration leads the way....

Inspiration makes me write and so m writing now after a gap of 6 months.... Yes...thanks to Ramesh.....

It was usual morning which ended up on an unusual note...After my regular gymming..I hopped on to my auto.....striking a conversation with my auto guy.... gathering details on his family and their preparations for the upcoming festival...... Then I got to know that the guy's wife worked at an IT park donning the educational certificates attained by his hardwork... The context wherein I was taken aback was that he was Bachelors in Banking management ( BBM)... and yet couldnt continue his education..&...His wife was a software engineer....
Isnt that inspiring...Amongst a group of men, who would never want their better halves to bask the glory... I saw a guy taking pains to educate his wife... and seeking pride through her... Thats inspirational isn't it.....

My last straw.....

I am tired and I am done....Dats it for me....this might just look to you as a mere blabber to all my readers....But lately anger is consuming me and is affecting me to the core. I am tired of carryin baggages and I am tired of being termed as short tempered.... I dont know where the anger comes how it comes...it explodes and then while it coools off..I feel like an animal which has devoured its prey and later mourning its death......Why m i so angry?? Is it becoz I am provoked? Where is all this anger coming from? How should I control it? Meditation...Yoga....what will stop this rampage?? What m I seekin? I feel like an insane all tied up with belts and all ready to explode....seeking freedom...when will I get free? I am still seeking for answers as my questions keep on raising.........???***######

"Mercedes C-Class"- Superior safety, comfort and agility....

Safety, comfort, agility: these are the outstanding attributes of the new C-Class. The Saloon excels with a many-faceted product concept which meets the expectations of various customer target groups. The debutante shares the latest, state-of-the-art technology. This includes the newly developed AGILITY CONTROL package with situation-responsive shock absorber control, and the PRE-SAFE® preventive occupant protection system, and engines with up to six percent lower fuel consumption.

Attributes :-

With a length of 4596 millimetres, the Saloon is 68 millimetres longer than its predecessor. The body width has increased by 42 mm to 1770 millimetres, and the wheelbase by 45 mm to 2760 millimetres. These dimensions create the conditions for a generously sized interior, and therefore more comfort. The front shoulder room has increased by 40 millimetres, for example.
The design of the new C-Class is based on the modern Mercedes idiom, which reflects the technical superiority of automobiles bearing the star with taut lines and large, tranquil surfaces. The pronounced wedge-shape of the front end serves to emphasise attributes such as agility and performance. Shock absorbers automatically adapt to the driving situation. The AGILITY CONTROL steering of the new C-Class has a ratio of 14.5, and is therefore six percent more direct than the steering of the preceding model.
A newly developed speed-sensitive steering with a more direct ratio, variable centring and adaptation of the accelerator characteristics and automatic transmission shift points is also included in the package.
ADAPTIVE BRAKE is another new development in the area of running gear technology. This is based on the technology of the S-Class and provides additional support functions for even more safety and comfort. Examples include Start-Off Assist for uphill gradients, priming the braking system in critical situations and light contact to dry the brake discs in wet conditions. Output of the supercharged four-cylinder engines increased by up to 13 percent
With a remarkable boost in output by up to 13 percent and an increase of around 9 percent in torque, the engines also do more than their bit to create the lively nature of the new C-Class. The four -cylinder units not only excel with powerful responsiveness, but also contribute to the excellent ride comfort of the Saloon with their improved smoothness.
Mercedes-Benz has paid particular attention to further development of the four-cylinder engines. In the petrol range, the C 200 KOMPRESSOR develops 15 kW/20 hp more than before. It has an output of 131 kW/178 hp and generates its maximum torque of 240 newton metres from 3500 rpm. These modified engines considerably improve the performance and fuel consumption of the four-cylinder models. When accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h, the C 200 KOMPRESSOR is 0.5 seconds faster than its predecessor. Improvements in fuel consumption are equally impressive: the combined fuel consumption of the C 200 KOMPRESSOR has been reduced by 0.5 litres per 100 kilometres. Fuel consumption of the four-cylinder CDI engines reduced by 0.3 litres. Further development of the four-cylinder units was also the main focus for the diesel engines.

The engineers in Stuttgart have made further improvements to the engine, turbocharger and common-rail direct injection, modifying more than 90 components. The C 220 CDI develops a peak output of 125 kW/170 hp (previously 104 kW/141 hp), and generates a torque of 410 newton metres from 2000 rpm -- around 21 percent more than before. Fuel consumption has been reduced by up to 0.3 litres per 100 kilometres: in the New European Driving Cycle (NEDC), the C 200 CDI and C 220 CDI are able to travel 100 kilometres on just 6.1 litres of fuel.
Compared to the previous series, Mercedes-Benz has enlarged the deformation zones even further and improved energy flows. The front-end structure of the new C-Class has four independently acting impact levels, which enable forces to be distributed over a wide area while bypassing the passenger cell.
The safety technology in the interior has been complemented with the very latest protection systems. Six airbags are included as standard equipment: two adaptive airbags for the driver and front passenger, two sidebags in the front seat backrests and two large windowbags which extend from the A to the C-pillar during a side impact. The driver, front passenger and the passengers on the outer rear seats also benefit from belt tensioners and belt force limiters as standard. The standard head restraints operate on the NECK PRO principle: during a rear-end collision the padded surfaces are pushed forward within milliseconds to support the heads of the driver and front passenger at an early stage. This significantly reduces the risk of a whiplash injury.
PRE-SAFE® is another special feature of the new Mercedes Saloon. This preventive occupant protection system (optional) is linked to active safety systems such as ESP® and Brake Assist, and is able to recognise critical driving manoeuvres at a very early stage. If the C-Class is in danger of crashing as a result of heavy under or oversteering, or if the driver needs to brake very heavily in a dangerous situation, PRE-SAFE® activates certain systems as a precaution to prepare the vehicle and its occupants for an impending accident. Accordingly the passive safety phase does not begin when the impact has already occurred, but before an impending collision.

Well I looked at the car and its features and it literally swept me from floor. I might sound very biased but having seated in the car( unfortunately i dont know driving) and experiencing the luxury may make you agree to me...The car is absolute beauty and has already found a good number of seekers in its first month of Launch....
